Why we made it

Told them a hundred times, and they still won't listen?

Children need more than being told. They need a safe place to try things out and choose for themselves. Koko's World turns real-life struggles into short stories: your child makes a choice, sees what happens, and little by little practises a better way.

  • Won't brush their teeth

The hardest bedtime moment becomes a single choice in a story.

  • Losing their temper

When feelings boil over, first spot them, then work out what to do.

  • Won't share

What happens when it's their turn to give way? Try it once in a story.

How it works

Four steps into an adventure

  1. Pick a world

Seven themed worlds, from home to the great outdoors.

  2. Step into a story

Koko leads the way into the scene.

  3. Make a choice

No right or wrong, just what happens next.

  4. Grow

    Earn XP and character badges.

For parents

Even better when you play together

  • Sit down with your child and pick one story at a time.

  • When the story ends, ask: “What would you do?”

  • Every adventure ends with a Parent Insight to help you keep the conversation going.

  • XP and badges are there to encourage, not to pressure. There are no wrong choices.

Parents can follow how their child grows over time.

The parent area: progress in each social-rule area for the child's age band, such as manners, honesty and school rules

Safety and privacy

Made for children, with privacy first

  • Parents sign up and consent

A parent (18 or older) registers the child and agrees to its use, in line with Malaysia's PDPA 2010.

  • Only what we need

The parent's email; the child's nickname, age group and avatar; and the choices made in the game.

  • What we never collect

Real names, photos, precise location (only the country of the connection), device model or advertising ID.

  • Never sold, never used for ads

Children's data is never sold or used for advertising. It stays on our own servers and is never handed to a third-party cloud.

This is how we work today. The privacy policy and terms of service are still under review; the versions published at launch are the ones that apply.

FAQ

Questions you might have

When does it launch?

It's still in preparation and there's no fixed date yet. We'll announce it on runupbiz.com.

What age is it for?

Primary-school children. The game has three ways to play, by age group: reading together, exploring on their own, and talking it through in depth.

Does my child need to sign up?

No. A parent registers and gives consent; your child only needs a nickname, an avatar and an age group.

How will I know my child is making progress?

You can follow your child's growth over time, and every adventure ends with a Parent Insight so the two of you can talk it over.
