Pikir privacy

On your phone
Pikir runs AI models on your phone. Your chats, settings and downloaded models are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. They are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer.
Remote models and web search
If you add a remote model, the messages and photos you send with it go from your phone to the service you entered. If you turn on web search, the search words go to the search service you set up. Their own privacy policies and prices apply. Pikir runs no server in between.
Tools that read web pages, the clipboard or your chats
Every tool is off until you turn it on in Settings > Tools, where each tool is set to Allow, Ask each time or Off. Tools work with remote models only. Read web pages: when the model picks a web address, your phone downloads that page; the website sees your phone's IP address and the page address, and the page text goes to the remote model's service. Read clipboard and Search my chats: the text they read goes to the remote model's service for that answer. Read clipboard always asks first, and Search my chats asks each time before found text goes to a remote model. Pikir runs no server in between.
Model downloads
Models are downloaded from the address shown on each model (Hugging Face, or a mirror shown on the model). Imported models stay on your phone. Adding a model from a Hugging Face link or repo name connects your phone to huggingface.co: it asks for the file list and downloads the file you pick.
Read aloud
Read aloud uses the speech engine of your phone. Depending on the engine you chose in Android, it may use an online voice, which has its own privacy policy.
Ads
Ads: the free version shows a Google AdMob banner ad on the model list (never on the chat screen). Pikir asks for non-personalised ads only. Google collects the advertising ID, approximate location from the IP address, device information and ad interactions for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention; Pikir receives none of it. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent form is shown before any ad request; you can change it in Settings > Privacy and safety > Ad privacy choices.
Pikir Pro
Pikir Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment; refunds follow Google Play's refund policy (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). Pikir keeps only an 'is Pro' mark on your phone.
Flags
Flags: when you flag an answer, Pikir marks it on your phone and adds a short note (the reason only, never the answer text) to that chat's later requests so the model can avoid that kind of answer. If the chat uses a remote model, that note goes to it together with your messages. Flags and your blocked words stay on your phone.
Send to the developer (optional)
Optional: on a flagged answer you can tap 'Send to the developer'. Only then, and only after a screen that shows exactly what goes, does Pikir send that answer's text (which may repeat words from your chat; this includes answers written by a remote model), the reason you picked, the app version, the model name (only for a model on your phone) and the app language over HTTPS to the developer's Feedback service at runupbiz.com. Nothing else is sent: not your question, no other chat text, no account, no device ID. Pikir never sends a flag by itself and sends each flag at most once. The Feedback service stores no account or device ID and deletes sent flags automatically after 90 days. The service does not store your IP address; it is held in memory for up to 24 hours to limit abuse, and the network provider (Cloudflare) that carries the request sees it and the report.
Your data
Delete everything: Settings > Delete all my data, or uninstall the app. Pikir holds no copy of your chats, settings or models, so there is nothing to request. A flag you chose to send carries no account or device ID and is deleted automatically after 90 days; deleting your data in the app does not recall it.
No account, no analytics of our own
Pikir has no account and adds no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own. The free version contains Google's AdMob SDK, which collects the data described under Ads.
