PeakLess has no account and no server. The hours you type stay in your browser on your device.
What the app stores
- Your rules (name, time zone, windows, multiplier) in your browser's local storage.
- Your language choice.
- On Android, whether you bought the one-time unlock, so the banner stays hidden.
The app sends none of the above anywhere. If Android backup is on for your phone, Android itself may copy the app's data to your own Google account so it can be restored on a new phone; that copy is made by Android, and you can switch it off in your phone's settings. Export produces a file you keep; import reads a file you choose.
If you use Share link, the rules you chose to share are written into the link itself and sent by you, to whoever you give the link to. We never host them, and a link we have never seen cannot be opened by us.
What the app does not do
- No account, no sign-in, no sync, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting.
- No location permission (no GPS), and no access to your contacts, photos, microphone or files.
- No third-party tracking beyond the ad banner described below.
The banner ad (Android only)
The free Android version shows one banner at the bottom, served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information, the advertising ID and an approximate location derived from your IP address to serve and measure that ad, under Google's own policy. In the EEA and the UK a consent message appears first; ads are requested only after consent. Personalised ads are off by default.
The web version shows no ads.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is handled by Google Play Billing. PeakLess receives only "this product is owned"; Google handles the payment and never shares your card details with the app.
Children
PeakLess is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
Clear the app's storage (Android: Settings → Apps → PeakLess → Storage → Clear data) or clear this site's data in your browser. That removes every rule; there is no copy elsewhere to delete.
